Ask whether the project meets or exceeds the one-per-five ratio, and get the actual numbers — chargers and parking slots, rather than an assurance of compliance.

Ask whether the building is conduit-ready throughout. A charger can be added at an individual slot without major work, and how much that addition would cost a resident.

Ask whether charging is shared or can be dedicated per slot. What the plan is as adoption rises.

Ask about electrical load capacity, sub-metering, and load enhancement.
