What is the most expensive flat in Gurgaon?
A penthouse at DLF's The Dahlias on Golf Course Road, sold for ₹271 crore. Business Today, citing PTI, reported on 10 August 2026 that entrepreneur Manav Sardana bought the unit, which has a super area of 17,200 sq ft and a carpet area of 10,500 sq ft. That is about ₹1.58 lakh per sq ft on super area and close to ₹2.6 lakh on carpet.
The Dahlias is still under construction, so this is a primary booking with DLF, not a resale. The figure has been reported by sources rather than from a registered sale deed, which is worth bearing in mind. Until it is registered, the highest registered flat sale in Gurgaon remains the ₹190 crore Camellias penthouse.
Both records are on Golf Course Road, in DLF's own phase 5 enclave. For anyone asking whether these prices are a one-off, the list below shows a dozen deals above ₹50 crore in under three years.
Who bought the ₹190 crore DLF Camellias penthouse?
Info-x Software Tech Pvt Ltd, a Gurugram logistics and IT services company, through its director Rishi Parti. Business Standard reported the deal on 9 December 2024 based on documents accessed by IndexTap. The deal was registered on 2 December 2024 and the company paid ₹13 crore in stamp duty.
The penthouse measures 16,290 sq ft. Propequity's CEO Samir Jasuja told the paper it set a record of ₹1.2 lakh per sq ft on super area and ₹1.8 lakh per sq ft on carpet, the highest ever for a high-rise apartment in India at that time. For context, DLF first sold Camellias units in 2014 as bare shells at ₹22,500 per sq ft. Early buyers have seen the value of their homes rise more than five-fold on a per sq ft basis.
The ₹13 crore stamp duty works out to about 6.8% of the price, which shows how much the government's share adds at this level. Our stamp duty page explains the current Haryana rates for men, women and joint buyers.
Who bought the ₹100 crore flat at DLF Camellias?
British businessman Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia bought an 11,416 sq ft apartment at The Camellias for ₹100 crore in 2025, according to Business Standard. The unusual part is that it was a first-floor, bare-shell corner simplex, not a high-floor unit with golf course views. The paper called it the third ₹100 crore-plus deal in the complex.
The earlier ones were an 11,000 sq ft apartment resold for ₹114 crore in 2023 and the ₹190 crore penthouse in December 2024. In 2026, Madhusudan Kela, the markets investor, bought an apartment at The Dahlias for ₹121 crore, reported by The Tribune in June 2026.

How do the biggest Gurgaon flat deals compare?
Ranked by price, the Dahlias penthouse is in a league of its own at ₹271 crore, more than 40% above the Camellias record. Below ₹120 crore the deals bunch tightly, with several at ₹95 crore to ₹114 crore.
Two Camellias penthouses registered in September 2025 look cheap at ₹51 crore to ₹60 crore, but they were booked from DLF in 2015 and 2021 and only registered now. They show what early buyers paid, not today's market.

What is the price per sq ft at DLF Camellias and The Dahlias?
Top deals now clear ₹1 lakh per sq ft on super area. The Camellias penthouse set ₹1.2 lakh in December 2024, and the Dahlias penthouse ₹1.58 lakh in August 2026. When The Dahlias launched, Business Standard put prices at around ₹65,000 per sq ft on super area; by June 2026 The Tribune reported a starting price of ₹80,000 per sq ft.
That is the real story for buyers. The Camellias was sold at ₹22,500 per sq ft in 2014, so the record deal ten years later was more than five times the launch rate. At The Dahlias, the starting rate of ₹80,000 reported in June 2026 is about 23% above the roughly ₹65,000 quoted at launch in late 2024. The flip side is liquidity: very few people can write a ₹100 crore cheque, so a resale in this bracket depends on finding one buyer, and that can take time. Buy here for use and long holding, not for a quick exit.

Who lives in DLF Camellias, and who is buying at The Dahlias?
The buyers fall into three groups: founders and investors (Deepinder Goyal, Madhusudan Kela), business families and NRIs (Sukhpal Singh Ahluwalia, the Agarwal family), and companies buying in their own name (Info-x Software, Pioneer Urban Land). Business Standard describes the Camellias resident base as industrialists, CEOs, family offices and start-up founders.
Demand at The Dahlias has been deep. By September 2025 DLF had sold 221 units there for ₹15,818 crore, an average of ₹72 crore each, according to The Tribune. One Delhi-NCR businessman bought four apartments together, 35,000 sq ft, for ₹380 crore. If you are looking in this bracket, our list of flats above ₹10 crore and the Golf Course Road project page are the place to start.
A practical point on costs. Stamp duty is paid on top of the price: ₹13 crore on the ₹190 crore penthouse, ₹6.65 crore on the ₹95 crore Pioneer purchase and ₹3.90 crore on the ₹65 crore Chadha resale, per the registration records cited by Business Standard. Budget for it from day one, along with interiors, which on a bare-shell unit of 10,000 sq ft is a project in itself.
